Almond Joy Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1½ cups of homemade coconut milk (get my recipe here)
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 scoop protein powder (I use Unflavored Pure Paleo. Available here)
- 2 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder or carob powder (for those with caffeine sensitivity, use carob)
- 1 Tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp almond butter
- ¼ cup frozen spinach
- 3 ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and blender and blend until smooth
Notes
** I try to get some type of green or vegetable in all my smoothies, which is why I added the spinach. You cannot see or taste it and it's a great way to sneak in some extra nutrients!
