Almond Joy Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups of homemade coconut milk (get my recipe here)
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder (I use Unflavored Pure Paleo. Available here)
  • 2 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder or carob powder (for those with caffeine sensitivity, use carob)
  • 1 Tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • ¼ cup frozen spinach
  • 3 ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients and blender and blend until smooth
Notes
** I try to get some type of green or vegetable in all my smoothies, which is why I added the spinach. You cannot see or taste it and it's a great way to sneak in some extra nutrients!
