Diet is all about balance and I totally support eating treats every now and then, especially on holidays. Even though you’re indulging, you can still make treats that suit your dietary restrictions, which is what I did with these Paleo Cinnamon Rolls! They were quick and easy to make and were a nice treat for my family and I on Easter weekend!
The Rolls
The best part about these rolls is I found a mix! The mix I used can be found here. All you have to do is add water, eggs and apple cider vinegar to make the dough. Add your sweetener of choice (I used maple syrup and a small amount of coconut crystals, found here) and cinnamon to complete!
The Frosting
The only thing missing was a little bit of frosting. Again, I wanted to make a frosting that was paleo and didn’t have any refined sugar, so I got a little creative.
Recipe:
- 4 TBSP Coconut Cream (scraped from the top of a can of coconut milk)
- 3 TBSP Maple Syrup
- 1 Tsp Alcohol Free Madagascar Vanilla
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and whisk until smooth
